PREVIEW
Brian McDermott takes his in-form Reading team to the South Coast for a top of the table clash against Nigel Adkins’ league leaders Southampton.

The Saints sit top of the table on goal difference, thanks largely, to Rickie Lambert who has 26 league goals this season. However, they have struggled with the added pressure at home of late. The hosts have recorded only four wins in their last ten home games, a run of form which has allowed the Royals to join them on 82 points at the top of the Championship.

Reading on the other hand are flying, winning 13 of their last 15 league games, and are one of the hottest teams in England.  Reading have slowly worked their way up the league table after a slow start and now have the chance to reclaim top spot with a win at the St Mary’s Stadium.

This game has the potential to be the Championship decider and with that a close game is expected. Both defences have been rock solid in recent weeks and the hosts have only conceded three in their past six home league outings. With neither team wanting to lose, a draw suits both teams and thus the two may cancel each other out. Punters can back the draw at around 3.2 on BETDAQ.
