PREVIEW

Athletic Bilbao head into tonight’s clash with Osasuna hoping to kick start their season following an inconsistent opening few weeks. After six league games the hosts are still without a home win in La Liga, while they are only outside the relegation places on goal difference.

Main man Fernando Llorente should be fit enough to return to the starting XI after recovering from a knock, but Herrera, Ocio, Igor Martinez and Castillo remain unavailable.

Bilbao won last year’s home league game against Osasuna with a last minute Carlos Gurpegui strike. Interestingly, it was the same in the league game at El Sadar Stadium as they needed another late winner – but this time from Iker Muniain.

Osasuna are one point ahead in the league, but have found life tough on their travels. From three away games they’ve picked up only two points, although they have lost only once in their six previous La Liga contests. Goals remain a problem though as they are averaging under a goal per game in that period.

Neither club comes into this clash on particularly hot form and I cannot see too many goals in this one. Marcelo Bielsas’ side have not fared much better with a return of seven goals from six league fixtures, so my advice would be to back under 2.5 goals at 1.94 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back under 2.5 goals at around 1.94: 5 points
Sunday’s Return: -3
