PREVIEW
A tough few weeks has culminated in Brentford slipping out of the play-off picture and they’ll have their work cut out this evening if they’re to get the better of Carlisle. The Bees have won only once in nine League One games, although they are unbeaten in five matches at Griffin Park.
In recent outings the Bees have beaten the likes of Hartlepool and Wycombe, but Uwe Rosler will be disappointed with the number of draws that his side have picked up. Gary Alexander has been excellent leading the line for the Bees and the striker has bagged 12 goals this season. Clayton Donaldson has also chipped in with five goals, as well as seven assists.
Carlisle have tasted defeat only once in eleven league games and have forced themselves into promotion contention. The Cumbrians recently held Huddersfield to a point on their travels, so confidence will be high amongst the squad.
The hosts have drawn three of their past six home league games and another tight contest looks on the cards. It finished all square in the reverse league fixture between the clubs, so backing another draw at around 3.5 on BETDAQ is the recommendation.
