PREVIEW
Newcastle are on a woeful run of form, having lost five of their last six games, but it’s still a surprise to see them underdogs against tonight’s rivals Everton at St James’ Park.
The Magpies have only lost one of their last ten Premier League home games against the Toffees and, while David Moyes’ side have scored in their last 17 league games – a current league high – they have also conceded in their last 15. That is also a Premier League high this term.
The hosts have fared almost as bad defensively, with the 4-3 loss at Old Trafford followed by a 7-3 rout at the Emirates on Saturday. However, they have little problem finding the net and if Alan Pardew can sort out the back four then they should start picking up points and improve on their 15th place position.
Everton have drawn five of their ten away games in the league this season and backing the draw at 3.55 on BETDAQ is advised. Newcastle will be desperate to steady the ship and the visitors would surely be content with a point at a ground they struggle at.
