We’ve reached the business end of the World Darts Championships and it’s the semi-finals tonight at the Ally Pally.
First up at 7pm is the Wizard from Down Under Simon Whitlock against Peter Wright who edged past Michael Smith 4-3 in the third round and was involved in another thriller when beating Wes Newton 5-4 in the quarter finals.
Whitlock, on the other hand, has breezed through the tournament without the loss of a set up to the quarter final stage where he had to work very hard in indeed to beat Ian White 5-4 in a tie-breaker.
Whitlock’s half of the draw was blown wide open by the shock second-round exit of 16-times world champion Phil Taylor, the man who defeated him in the 2010 final.
At around 1.83 on BETDAQ Whitlock should again reach the final this year.
