PREVIEW
The first Confederations Cup semi-final pits South American neighbours Brazil and Uruguay against each other tonight and the hosts go into the tie as warm favourites at around 1.38 on BETDAQ. Uruguay are trading at as big as 8.4, which does appear a little on the big side, considering the underdogs finished fourth at the last World Cup and are blessed with quality.

Brazil went into this tournament in indifferent form but came through Group A having won all three games, including a thrilling 4-2 win over Italy. Uruguay were outclassed by Spain in their opener but only went down 2-1, before narrowly beating Nigeria by the same scoreline and thumping minnows Tahiti 8-0.

There was no merit in that last win and the way they struggled to beat the African team means Luis Suarez and co will need to step up big time to beat a Brazilian side inspired by the wonderful Neymar. Brazil are looking to extend their own Confederations Cup record that has seen them win their last ten games in the competition.

The Barcelona-bound Neymar has scored in every game so far and looks a fair bet to hit the net first at around 4.4 on BETDAQ. That also looks worth covering with a bet on him to score at anytime in the ‘Player to Score’ market.
