I don’t normally put up a debutant but it’s impossible not to get excited by the pedigree of Pacharana who is a daughter of Oasis Dream out of a Montjeu mare. It’s a really weak contest and she may well prove good enough to strike at the first time of asking.

John Gosden will still be on cloud 9 after Golden Horn’s superb Arc triumph. He has smaller fish to fry here but Swiss Affair should make it third time lucky having finished runner-up in both starts to date. She was only beaten a short head by Effectual last time but had the third and fourth spread out by considerable distances.
