PREMIER LEAGUE FRIDAY: We preview Friday’s two Premier League games between EVERTON v WATFORD and WEST BROM v CHELSEA. Get our verdicts with recommended BETDAQ bets.

EVERTON V WATFORD

7.45pm We have two games to enjoy on Friday night and we start with two out of form sides as Everton host Watford. Everton have a great record at home this season though and are heavy odds on favourites – the odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Everton 1.49, Watford 8.0 and the draw is 4.8.

Watford have lost four of their last five games without scoring a single goal – they beat Swansea 1-0 at home in between those games, but Swansea only got out of the relegation zone last weekend so we can’t read too much into that. They conceded ten goals in those four games, and are finishing their season with a whimper. However, Everton aren’t exactly finishing strongly either! They lost 1-0 to Swansea away from home last weekend, got beat 3-0 by Chelsea and drew 0-0 with West Ham before that. They could easily be on their holidays early given they are locked into 7th position. We feel though that their strong home record should see them through tonight, but we don’t like the price of 1.49.

We feel this might be a pretty open game with both sides having little to play for, Watford not scoring lately is a worry however Everton have seen plenty of goals in their home games this season and with over 2.5 goals trading 1.8, that looks big enough for us to back.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.8.

WEST BROM v CHELSEA

8pm Speaking of teams going on their holidays early in the above game, it appears West Brom have! They have only recorded one win in their last nine games, and have failed to score in seven of those nine games! They are without a win in their last six, and it’s hard to see how they can stop Champions Elect Chelsea from winning here. Away from home though, the 1.39 on Chelsea just feels a little short, while West Brom are trading 10.0 and the draw is 5.2. Like we said, we can’t see Chelsea not winning, but from a value point of view – we’re going to look around rather than back the 1.39.

Chelsea did go 11 games without keeping a clean sheet prior to their last two games, so over 2.5 goals may be of interest at around the 1.85 mark. With West Brom horribly out of form though, you might be relying on Chelsea to score all three – and they’ll hardly be pushing for a third with 15 minutes to go if they’re winning 2-0 and marching towards the title. Chelsea have got back to their solid ways with two clean sheets coming into this one and with this in mind, we’re happy to take a chance and back under 2.5 goals at 2.14 – it’s only been four days since Chelsea played, and they play again on Monday night. We feel they’ll take a “job done” approach here if they go 1-0 up, especially as the game goes on with subs coming on, and unders looks the value with West Brom not scoring lately.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.14.
