PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games including Man City v Leicester. Get our verdicts with recommended BETDAQ bets.

MANCHESTER CITY V LEICESTER

12.30pm We kick off our Saturday Premier League action with last years Champions Leicester visiting Manchester City. City can take a huge step towards confirming their place in the top four this season, however they look very short in the match odds market at 1.29. Leicester have nothing to play for, but have won their last two coming into this and kept two clean sheets too – we can expect them to play quite attacking and go for it with nothing to lose. City should be able to deal with that given their firepower but the 1.29 just looks way too short. We expect a very open game here and with over 2.5 goals trading 1.41 – there isn’t much value there either! Both Teams To Score is trading 1.82 however and that looks like a shade of value in what should be an entertaining game to start the day.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Teams To Score at 1.82.

BOURNEMOUTH V BURNLEY

3pm Both these sides arrive here after a 2-2 draw last weekend, with Bournemouth drawing here against Stoke and Burnley at home to West Brom. Burnley’s terrible away record has been well documented this season, however they have the chance to win back-to-back away games here after beating Crystal Palace 2-0 at the end of April – they’ve only managed seven points away from home this season, so we can hardly expect an away win again! It’s tempting to back Bournemouth at 2.0, however it was disappointing that they couldn’t get the job done here against Stoke last weekend as everything pointed to a Bournemouth win beforehand. Looking at the stats, they are just conceding too many goals – they’ve kept just two clean sheets in their last ten home games and conceded 19 goals in those ten games. Based on this, we like over 2.5 goals at 1.82 more than the Bournemouth win, and that will be out best bet.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.82.

MIDDLESBROUGH V SOUTHAMPTON

3pm After losing 3-0 against Chelsea on Monday, Middlesbrough were relegated and it’s always hard to judge how teams react to that after it’s confirmed. We seen Sunderland surprisingly beat Hull away from home after it was confirmed for them last weekend. In front of their home fans, they can hardly give up here, and the fans should drive them onto a decent effort to win. Southampton seem to be there for the taking, they’re without a win in their last five and have only managed to find the net once in those five games. It wouldn’t be worth a huge amount of money, but we feel that laying Southampton here at 2.08 is the value and we’re happy to take a chance at the odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.08.

SUNDERLAND V SWANSEA

3pm Sunderland did Swansea a huge favour when beating Hull last weekend, however they can now deal them a hammer blow by beating them! Hull play Crystal Palace away from home tomorrow, and a win here for Swansea would really put them in the driving seat to stay up. You have to wonder if the “need to win” factor is making Swansea a little short in the match odds market, they’re currently trading 1.93, with Sunderland 4.3 and the draw 3.9. Sunderland of course have nothing to play for, but as we seen last weekend, that doesn’t stop them from winning. The hard fact is though is that they are without a win in their last nine home games, and have failed to score in nine of their last 11. Despite Sunderland’s woeful home form, we cannot support Swansea here at the odds – they’ve lost six of their last seven away from home, and we cannot back a side at 1.93 with that run. With Sunderland struggling to score, and Swansea no doubt nervous about the situation – this could be a very cagey game, and with no value in the match odds market – we like under 2.5 goals at 2.06.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.06.

STOKE V ARSENAL

5.30pm You know that old joke about could Messi do it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke. Well, it turns out that Arsenal cannot do it in Stoke! In the last eight Premier League meetings between the sides here, Arsenal have only managed to win once – with four wins for Stoke. They’ve also failed to even score in three of their last four visits here. Stats like those really make Arsenal looks short at 1.74 here, as we all know that it will be a tough game, even if they come out on top. We feel from a value point of view, the Arsenal lay really appeals here – especially as they have been firing this season either – and we’re going to keep it simple and look no further for our best bet.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Arsenal at 1.74.
