PREMIER LEAGUE: We look ahead to Monday’s Premier League clash between CHELSEA and SPURS. If Spurs fail to win it’s Leicester’s title.

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur 8-00

Spurs face the tough challenge of having to go to Stamford Bridge tonight and win to close the gap on Leicester to five points after their draw with Man United yesterday. If they beat Chelsea at home tonight, it will be for the first time in the Premier League since 1990! They’ve played 25 times since, Chelsea have won 17 of them and drawn the others.

This Spurs team is probably the best to ever arrive into Stamford Bridge though, and this season Chelsea haven’t been in good form at home so it’s no surprised to see such an open market with Chelsea 2.78, the draw 3.6 and Spurs 2.72. The edge could be with Spurs here given Chelsea’s home record this season – won just five all season – while they haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet in their last ten games at home, this will be music to Harry Kane’s ears and he is currently 5.7 to score first and 2.4 to score anytime. And given he’s scored 13 goals in his last 14 Premier League games, that looks a shade of value given Chelsea’s defensive record.

Over 2.5 goals could be worthy of a bet at around the 1.85 mark too, Spurs have had over 2.5 goals in four of their last six (the two games that didn’t, still has two) and Chelsea have had over 2.5 goals in four of their last five.
