Ainippe, yesterday’s nap, was a non runner so the current naps sequence remains at 4 WINNERS FROM THE LAST 6.
Down Royal stage a seven race card tonight on expected good to yielding ground.
The racing looks competitive and the best bet on the card is Morga in the Kerry Foods Rated Hurdle at 5.25pm.
The five-year-old mare ran a cracker at the Galway Festival to finish third behind Vive La France in a handicap hurdle and was only headed on the approach to the last flight.
She hasn’t quite fulfilled her potential so far. She won back to back races at Cork and Punchestown last year but since then has a struggled for a win. She has, however, been competing at a much higher level than she faces tonight (including a Group 3 run on the flat!).
Dai Bando was a good third at Gowran Park before falling last time out when still in contention two out. He looks the danger.
