DUNDALK ON FRIDAY: SHAMROCK is off to Dundalk on Friday night for their evening card which gets underway at 6.45pm. His best bet comes in the Champions Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium Maiden at 6.45pm.
The weekend starts tonight and hopefully we can get something in the kitty ahead of the big race action with of course the highlight being the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday.
Before that though, it’s flat action tonight at Dundalk.
The Adian O’Brien trained Lone Star has proved strong in the market today. He certainly improved significantly last time out over course and distance when second over course and distance to the odds on chance Not Your Call.
Coincidentally, Not Your Call runs in the earlier 6.15 race where he has just two rivals and clearly I’m looking for a good run for him to rubber-stamp the form.
Biggest danger is likely to come from the David Wachman trained filly Flare Of Firelight who ran well here on debut when fourth to Kaminari.
