NICKNAME LANDS NAP: SHAMROCK goes into the busy Easter period with a winning nap on Thursday. NICKNAME EXIT (NAP) WON 8/11 to land SHAMROCK’S ONLY bet of the day.

Nickname Exit won well enough yesterday to hopefully set up a good Easter weekend.

The ground is expected to be heavy for Cork’s flat meeting on Saturday and that should suit the selection Toe The Line in the Listed Noblesse Stakes at 4.30.

She is already proven on the softer surface unlike chief market rivals Altesse and Massinga who both look to have more potential but will be a real guessing game on this ground.

Toe The Line would appear to have stamina in abundance. She is on to a hat-trick after wins over 1m 6f and 2m but should equally be at home over this 1m 4f trip, especially with the ground being so testing.

Altesse won her debut at Killarney and went on to finish placed in three subsequent Listed races. Her best effort probably coming at the Curragh when a close up third to Second Step.

Dermot Weld’s Massinga could be the real dark horse of the race. She won in handicap company last time out at Leopardstown but should be seen to better effect over this longer trip today.

NAP: Toe The Line (4.30 Cork)
