WINNING NAP THURSDAY: Shamrock landed another winning nap on Thursday with Call The Police (WON 5/6 but odds against on BETDAQ) at Clonmel. Now for Dundalk.

It was good to see the nap Call The Police win well at Clonmel yesterday but unfortunately the lay Inish Island had won earlier in the day (11/10). So it was a bogey start followed by a birdie and level par in the clubhouse.

Friday night is of course Dundalk and there are eight races on the card (not to mention the greyhound races that continue after the horses have finished !).

Sacred Dragon looks the proverbial good thing on the card in the 6.50 race. He was well backed on his debut over course and distance here in January and made the favourite that night  Machete Mark work really hard finishing just half a length in arrears.

There was 4 3/4 lengths back to the third Super Sling who also lines up tonight but clearly has plenty to find.

With normal improvement it’s hard to see defeat for Sacred Dragon tonight and anything north of 1.50 on BETDAQ would appeal.

NAP: Sacred Dragon (6.50 Dundalk)
