‘RESET’ YOUR DEFAULT PAGE TO BETDAQ: There’s no Irish racing today but Shamrock will still have the Betdaq offers up all day, hoping to catch a top price about his nap in England, Reset City.

Two trainers catch the eye today. Ian Williams, who has a 50% strike rate at Redcar, has booked Jamie Spencer for Reset City (5.15), his only ride of the day.

Donald McCain goes marching on, with another winner yesterday, thanks to the capable hands of Jason Maguire, who had to carry Lexi’s Boy over the last two hurdles at Ascot to make all the running.

The son of Brian Boru, Boruler (4.00 Kelso) needs to be caught fresh, returning to the course where he won his maiden for McCain under an apprentice, by far enough to suggest that he can give the weight today. Maguire takes over for the first time.

We are back at Thurles tomorrow, Dundalk Wednesday and Clonmel Thursday before the big weekend at Fairyhouse.

The Easter feature is, of course, the Irish Grand National next Monday, and I’ll be trying to find something at big offers to back later in the week.

SHAMROCK’S BETS
NAP: Reset City (5.15 Redcar)
NEXT BEST: Boruler (4.00 Kelso)
DAQ TRIO: Kai Broon (3.30 Kelso), Boruler (4.00 Kelso), Reset City (5.15 Redcar)
