This afternoon’s meeting at Punchestown has been cancelled following an inspection due to a waterlogged track.
A further inspection will be held at 8am on Thursday to assess prospects for that day’s racing.
Thursday’s card is due to host the Buck House Novice Chase and the Star ‘Best for Racing Coverage’ Chase. A third Grade Three features the Ryan’s Cleaning Events Specialists Hurdle.
Should the track be raceable following the inspection, the Grade Three Grabel Mares Hurdle will be switched from Wednesday’s card and be added in as the first race on Thursday’s card, meaning racing will get under way at 1.45pm.
