SHAMROCK BIDS FOR 5 WINNING NAPS FROM 6: Shamrock heads to Dundalk on Wednesday evening in search of another winning nap.
On the first day of Irish racing since the weekend we head to Dundalk tonight and the best bet could come in the final race – the Christmas Race & Dine Packages Maiden at 9.00.
Benbecula brings by far the best form into the race and should strike at the sixth attempt.
Crucially, he already has form on the all-weather. At Lingfield and Wolverhampton when trained by Richard Hannon and on his first start for Tommy Carmody when third here over a mile trip that looked certainly on the short side for him.
He is stepped up to a mile and a half tonight and should be able to win what looks a really weak contest.
