SHAMROCK’S BACK WITH A WINNING NAP: After a blip on Thursday when his NAP was second – SHAMROCK stormed back with a winning NAP yesterday – MAGICAL STEPS WON EVENS to make it five winning naps from the last six.
It’s now FIVE naps up from the LAST SIX and all have been well backed compared to morning prices on BETDAQ.

There’s a strong English challenge here and the best of them could be the in-form Dutch Masterpiece who fully deserves to take this step-up in class. Joseph O’Brien has been booked for the ride and he looks best in a wide open sprint.
4:20 Galileo European Breeders Fund Futurity Stakes (Group 2) (2yo, Class 1, 7f, 5 runners)
I have to stay loyal to War Command. Regular readers will remember he did us a great turn when winning the Coventry Stakes at 20/1 in brilliant fashion but then he ran a very disappointing race to only finish third to Sudirman in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes here. In hindsight he was only beaten a length and is still an inexperienced horse so is taken to get back on the winning track here.
5:25 Gain Irish St Leger Trial Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 6f, 5 runners)
Ernest Hemingway is already proven over course and distance – he won the Curragh Cup here in June and then followed up by winning a Group 3 at Leopardstown. On both occasions today’s rival Royal Diamond was back in second and it should prove the same story today.
