SHAMROCK AT FAIRYHOUSE: The card sees the eagerly awaited chasing debut of the Willie Mullins trained Yorkhill who runs in the 2.10pm.

The Willie Mullins trained Yorkhill makes his chasing debut at Fairyhouse this afternoon and he will start at prohibitive odds.

A winner of his first six races including the Neptune at the Cheltenham Festival and the Mersey Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree he disappointed on his final start when a well beaten fourth to Don’t Touch It at the Punchestown Festival.

The Fairyhouse fences present a stiff enough challenge on debut so we should learn a lot after the 2.10pm race but he certainly isn’t a betting proposition.

In the three mile beginners chase at 2.45pm Mall Dini looks one to support. He was a handicap winner over hurdles at the Cheltenham Festival and ran with great credit on his chasing debut at Punchestown when third to Haymount. This looks an easier contest.
