A very satisfactory results last night from the ONLY bet so far this week !!
Represent Yourself was my NAP at Dundalk who won at 2/1.
The good news is that Gowran Park is on today. Officials called an 8am check after heavy rain on Friday left standing water on parts of the track.
However, conditions have improved overnight and the meeting goes ahead. The ground is reported to be heavy.
The feature race, the Red Mills Trial Hurdle (Grade 2), looked like being a cracker earlier in the week but has cut up significantly leaving the unbeaten Un De Sceaux as virtually unbackable at around 1.06 on BETDAQ.
It would come as now surprise to see Florishwells D’ete make a winning debut in the maiden hurdle at 4.10.
It doesn’t look a strong content and Florishwells D’ete, the mount of Ruby Walsh, could easily be good enough to go in first time. She already has reasonable placed form in France.
