POTENTIAL STAR FAUGHEEN BIDS TO REMAIN UNBEATEN: The Willie Mullins trained Faugheen has been a big talking horse and bids to remain umbeaten today at Navan.

Several Willie Mullins trained hotpots on the Navan card today but none shorter than Faugheen who has been a big talking horse from the yard and so far hasn’t failed to deliver.

He showed instant acceleration to win a bumper at Punchestown by 22 lengths in May and returned to the course for his hurdling debut last month and was equally as impressive, winning easily and landing odds of 1/5.

That came over 2m 6f and Willie Mullins was keen to step him back in trip today which he has done.

At around 1.28 on BETDAQ it’s definitely a watching race for me today though with an eye on the future.

At better odds the Mullins trained Vautour looks of huge interest on his debut for the yard in the opener at 12.15. He showed promise in two starts in France and has been reportedly pleasing Mullins at home. Evens doesn’t look unreasonable – even in this huge field.
