SATURDAY NAP WINS EVENS: SHAMROCK landed a winning nap on Saturday from his only bet – Punita Arora WON EVENS at Navan.

I can only really mention this in hushed tones given colleague DAQMAN hammered home a superb 14/1 WINNING NAP yesterday but the SHAMROCK NAP also won – at a less exciting even money at Navan. She won well from Glow Worm and Lady Penelope – the same 123 order as predicted in yesterday’s column.

The show rolls on to Fairyhouse and Sligo on Sunday, feature race is the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes – the 3.10 at Fairyhouse.

There’s a strong UK raiding party with Perfection (David O’Meara), Indian Blessing (Ed Walker) and Heavenly Holly (Hugo Palmer) trying to take the prize back over the Irish Sea.

However, Surrounding sets a good standard for Mick Halford – she really is a consistent mare who was only headed on the line in a valuable handicap at The Curragh last time out. She loves the trip and ground and could be hard to peg back with question marks against her main rivals.

Perfection had a luckless run in the Wokingham which might well have cost her a place. She was a close second on her only previous try in Group company but that came on soft ground.

Indian Blessing has only one win over this trip to her name but again that came with give in the ground.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Surrounding (3.10 Fairyhouse)
