NICKNAME ANOTHER FOR MULLINS AND WALSH: Nickname Exit looks the best bet on the evening card at Clonmel tonight.

Nickname Exit should justify favouritism in the Goatenbridge Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel tonight.

Trained by Willie Mullins, ridden by Ruby Walsh and owned by Gigginstown House Stud he certainly wouldn’t be high on the pecking order from that illustrious trio but should get a win on his CV tonight.

He was runner up between the flags on debut and then finished third to Russian Bill in a bumper on heavy ground.

In truth, he was disappointing last time here at Clonmel when only third at 4/6 in a flat race but could well improve for being tried over jumps and in any case has already shown more ability than the majority of this modest field.

He looks to have more scope than likely danger Frankie Ballou who was a course and distance second last time out but has already had plenty of chances.
