TRAMORE NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Tramore on Thursday for his nap bidding to follow on from Sub Lieutenant who won the Irish Daily Star Chase at Punchestown on Wednesday landing his nap at 8/11.

A smooth nine length victory for yesterday’s nap Sub Lieutenant who won the Irish Daily Star Chase and looks set to go on and compete some of the biggest chases this season.

Irish action comes from Tramore on Thursday with a seven race card on expected good ground.

Like yesterday, I’m relying on Rachael Blackmore who looks to have a great chance in the opening maiden hurdle at 1.35pm on Seapoint.

It’s a really modest contest on paper and whilst Seapoint is a 17 race maiden on flat and jumps she hasn’t been beaten far in her last two starts over timber in much better races than this.

Her sixth to The Princetonian last time out at Clonmel reads pretty well in the context of this race.

The danger looks to be Cairnhill, although he was beaten 33 lengths when fourth at Wexford last time out.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Seapoint (1.35 Tramore)
