FAIRYHOUSE NAP: SHAMROCK landed a winning NAP on Sunday and is back looking at the big race at Fairyhouse on Tuesday. Testing ground is very much a key factor.

Racing resumes in Ireland on Tuesday after the Roscommon card was called off yesterday because of waterlogging.

A winning NAP and NEXT BEST from the three selections on Sunday and hopefully we can continue in winning form this week starting at Fairyhouse today where the ground is soft to heavy ahead of their seven race flat card.

We have a Listed race to brighten up what is otherwise a poor days racing – especially with the Ayr card falling victim to the weather first thing this morning.

In the Blenheim Stakes at 3.20 I like the look of Brooklyn’s Rose.

She has been highly tried since making a winning debut over course and distance in June when the ground was also testing.

She has run in Group 2 and 3 races in her last two starts and the combination of the drop in class and drop in distance make her an appealing bet at around 4.3 on BETDAQ at the time of writing.

Born To Be is sure to improve but needs to and is unproven on the surface. Two big question marks about a market leader. No thank you.
