KILLARNEY AND LIMERICK: Both race today ensuring flat and jumps fans are equally catered for. SHAMROCK’s nap runs at Killarney.

The Sheila Lavery trained Angel Bay could be the answer to the fillies maiden at Killarney tonight (6.10pm).

The three-year-old ran an eye-catching fourth on debut at Leopardstown behind Sacrificial and the sixth in that race, Tuk Tuk, has given the form a good boost by coming out and winning next time out at Gowran Park. The jockey booking of Pat Smullen is clearly a big positive.

Assuming the two debutants will need the race, the biggest danger from those to have raced looks to be the Jessica Harrington trained Out Of Context who was a good debut third at Limerick. She is currently favourite on BETDAQ with Angel Bay second best – but for me they should be the other way round. A classic case of a bigger stables representative getting more respect in the market over what the formbook says.

Just four runners line up for the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Race at 6.45 but it looks an interesting contest.

Dermot Weld’s Postulation has the benefit of a recent winning run but Bertie Le Belge is pretty classy and finished fourth in the John Deere Juvenile Turf Stakes last season at Leopardstown. He is preferred tonight.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Angel Bay (6.10 Killarney)
NEXT BEST: Bertie Le Belge (6.45 Killarney)
