Peony Fairy looks the likely winner of the 7f maiden tonight at Dundalk for trainer Jim Bolger who was honoured at the Cartier Awards last night in London.
He was awarded the Cartier/Daily Telegraph Award of Merit for 2013.
Bolger’s decorated racing career began in the 1970s and has encompassed unbridled success as a trainer, owner and breeder.
Peony Fairy has fared well in stall 4 and can hopefully recover losses for her supporters who burnt their fingers when she last ran here finishing second at 8/11.
Certainly the step up in trip to seven furlong should help the filly in a race where despite a large field doesn’t appear too deep in terms of quality.
