SHAMROCK NAPS IN THE COMPETITIVE 7.30 NAAS: There are some small fields on Wednesday’s seven race card but the 7.30 looks competitive.
A seven race card at Naas tonight run on good to firm ground.
In the Montane Developments Supporting Console Apprentice Handicap (47-65) at 7.30pm Apache Gold is my best bet of the day.
The seven-year-old has slowly been running back into form and was only beaten half a length over this trip at Limerick last time out behind Annie Irish. Whilst he has never won on fast ground he does have some placed efforts so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Most of his rivals tonight seem badly out of form. The exception being Fairy Foxglove who was a good runner-up to Three Bells at Fairyhouse last time out and looks the danger.
