THE STRIKER: previews two Carabao Cup matches on Wednesday with a recommended bet. WEST BROM v HARROGATE TOWN and EVERTON v SALFORD CITY.

WEST BROM V HARROGATE TOWN

6pm What a brilliant evening of football on Sky Sport with two small clubs taking on Premier League clubs. It’s a great shame that we can’t have fans at stadiums yet, but both clubs can appreciate an excellent evening of football. Harrogate started life in League Two with a 4-0 win and they will be on cloud nine ahead of this fixture. It wasn’t long ago they were in the National League Playoff! West Brom need a confidence boosting win here after Leicester tonked them 3-0 in their Premier League opener at the weekend. We should have a good game.

It’s fair to say that there is a huge gulf in class for this fixture. Harrogate are levels below West Brom, and Slaven Bilic will be able to rest some of his main starting XI and still have enough to win the game. Harrogate will clearly have their best XI, but they have important games coming up – including a FA Trophy semi-final. I think we’ll see a low level quality game here with plenty of chances. Both Teams To Score is worth a small investment.

The Striker Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 2.05 with BETDAQ Sportsbook.

EVERTON V SALFORD CITY

8.15pm It’s fair to say that we will see plenty of changes from Everton here, but they will be looking to continue their impressive start to the season after beating Spurs away from home at the weekend! It’ll be interesting to see what happens Mourinho at Spurs given their performance but Everton toughed it out with a good win. James will obviously play a key role this season, although we might not see him tonight. This will be Salford’s first ever game against a Premier League side and it’s great to have the game on Sky Sports.

Salford have been incredible in recent years with their rise through the divisions. It’s fantastic that they get a visit to a Premier League club, although sad they can’t bring their fans. The reality is though Everton are more than a few levels above Salford and it should be one way traffic. After a big spending summer, Ancelotti will get a chance to look at a few players here and Everton can cover the handicap here. They’re trading 1.87 -2 goals on the Asian Handicap and that looks good value with stakes void if they win by exactly two.

The Striker Says:
One point win Everton -2 goals Asian Handicap to beat Salford City at 1.87 with BETDAQ Exchange.
