BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between RB LEIPZIG v AUGSBURG and CELTA VIGO v ELCHE with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

RB LEIPZIG V AUGSBURG

7.30pm We kick off Friday night football from Europe with RB Leipzig hosting Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Leipzig put themselves into a clear second with a win over Schalke last weekend; however it was the win over Bayer Leverkusen that put them in pole position for the race for second. Even this early in the season, the Bundesliga has turned into a race for second with everyone dropping points in January apart from Bayern Munich. Leipzig find themselves seven points behind Bayern, but they have a chance here to close the gap as Bayern don’t play until Monday. Augsburg have been reasonably poor this season, and this should be a straightforward win for Leipzig. The market agrees, with Leipzig trading 1.27 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange .

Augsburg have gained enough points to avoid straight relegation, but they are definitely in the mix for a relegation playoff given there’s only five points between six teams in that race. The Augsburg xG figures don’t look good either; even their recent win at home against Union Berlin was very lucky and they are consistently giving away too many chances. Against a side like Leipzig that just means goals! Leipzig have been creating a lot lately and I feel they will cover the handicap here – the 1.7 -1.5 goals is worth backing – I can only see one way traffic here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win RB Leipzig -1.5 goals to beat Augsburg at 1.7 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

CELTA VIGO V ELCHE

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish the day as Celta Vigo host Elche. Neither side have been firing lately, with Celta Vigo going six league games without a win and Elche have gone 15 games without a win in La Liga. With a run like that, it’s hard to make a case for Elche causing an upset here and winning. The best they can hope for is a draw in my opinion, and their poor form is reflected in the table where they sit in the bottom three. They are actually bang in the mix though, as they have two games in hand on the teams around them and are only two points behind 17th and four behind 15th. You can see Elche’s problem however when you look at their xG figures – they give away too many chances. Even Valencia who have been very average this season created an xG of 2.95 against them in a 1-0 win.

Celta Vigo played very well on Monday night to pick up a 2-2 draw with the league leaders Atletico Madrid. It was a deserved draw too, and they have been playing some solid football recently, just not getting results. For example, they created 1.78 in a 1-1 draw with Eibar and had an xG of 1.36 to 0.75 in a very unlucky loss against Real Betis. Celta Vigo might be on a run without a win, but they have a fantastic chance to breaking that run here. I would have them a couple of ticks shorter than their current 1.55 and I’m very happy to take them at those odds. Celta Vigo keep things very tight, while Elche give away a lot of chances, so this should be ideal for Celta.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Celta Vigo to beat Elche at 1.55 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
