WORLD CUP QUALIFIER: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s World Cup Qualifier between ESTONIA v WALES with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ESTONIA V WALES

7.45pm After all International eyes focused on the Nations League on Sunday, we’re back to the World Cup Qualifiers on Monday. We have a huge game on BETDAQ Betting Exchange from Group E as Estonia host Wales. Belgium have been busy in the Nations League during this International break, and they will be kicking themselves they couldn’t reach the Final after leading France 2-0 at half-time, however they are certain to top this Group. That leaves second place up for grabs, and Wales got a massive draw on Friday night away to Czech Republic.

That leaves Wales level on points with the Czech Republic who are currently in second on goal difference, but this is “basically” the game in hand for Wales. I say basically, because Czech Republic also play tonight, so technically Wales will still have a game in hand, but the only side to not play six games at the moment is Wales and Estonia. After this International break, we only have one International break left before the end of the World Cup Qualifiers – most sides will play two games over that break – so basically looking at the fixtures this is a must win game for Wales. A draw is unlikely to be good enough.

In the next International break, Wales have to play Belgium and Belarus while Czech Republic will play Belarus tonight and then they are at home to Estonia. They are trading around 1.3 to beat Belarus, and Wales will be very short favourites to beat them too with home advantage. The obvious problem is the Belgium game – and Wales will be hoping that because that is the last matchday, Belgium will decide to play some younger players because they are certain of first place.

That being said, if Wales can win well here and beat Belarus also, they might not need to beat Belgium, they might get second on goal difference. That leaves tonight’s game as huge, because they have home advantage against Belarus – this is the tricky away tie. Wales have been pretty impressive in the Group to date – they managed to beat Czech Republic and then draw away from home. Estonia held them to a 0-0 draw in Cardiff in September however, and that highlights the task at hand here.

I feel Wales will come through and win, but their price at 1.63 is exceptionally short. It’s very much a need to win price for me, and although I feel there’s a big chance Wales will outclass this Estonia side, I don’t make them close to 1.63 at all. I felt they would be trading around 1.8, and I have to lay them from a value point of view. I also couldn’t put anyone off under 2.5 goals as I expect a very close game, but the value is definitely with the Wales lay at the odds.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Wales to beat Estonia at 1.63 with BETDAQ Exchange.
