BAYERN MUNICH V STUTTGART

7pm It’s cup final time in Germany on Saturday night on Betdaq Betting Exchange! ! We have a cracking DFB-Pokal Final as Bayern Munich face Stuttgart at the Olympiastadion in Berlin! Bayern have been head and shoulders above everyone in Germany this season, but they face a decent Stuttgart side here – they are the defending champions, had a solid season to finish in the top four and they have decent performance levels too. With all that being said, Bayern still come into the tie as the red-hot favourites. Bayern are trading 1.36 with Stuttgart 8.6 and the draw is 6.2 at the time of writing.

The DFB-Pokal is the second most important trophy in German football behind the Bundesliga – it’s like the FA Cup in England. Bayern dominate the competition’s record books. They arrive in Berlin on Saturday as record 20 time winners of the competition. Stuttgart won it last season for the fourth time, but they face a huge task here to become back-to-back champions. This will the fourth time these two sides have met this season, and Bayern have won every single one of them. They beat Stuttgart 2-1 in the Supercup back in August, then absolutely demolished them 5-0 in December – Harry Kane helping himself to a hat-trick that day. The third meeting saw Bayern claim a 4-2 victory at the Allianz Arena – that result clinched the Bundesliga title with four games to spare.

Bayern have been on a different planet to everyone else in the Bundesliga this season. They finished with 122 goals – a new record for the most goals scored in a single league season by any team across Europe’s top five leagues this century. They smashed their own Bundesliga record, breaking the mark that had stood since the legendary 1971-72 team featuring Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Muller – a record that had lasted 54 years. Bayern’s average xG created of 2.32 was obviously the best attacking figure in the league by a significant margin, while their average xG conceded of just 1.13 is also the best defensive figure. Stuttgart have their hands full here, but their performance levels have been very good. Their average xG created of 1.78 is the joint-second best attacking figure in the Bundesliga alongside RB Leipzig, and if you don’t compare that figure to Bayern, it’s very impressive.

Their average xG conceded of 1.45 is a mid-table defensive figure though, and that’s probably going to be the huge issue here for Stuttgart. That vulnerability at the back has been a recurring theme – it’s why they finished in fourth and not closer. Against this Bayern side, a defensive figure like that is a massive worry. Especially with Harry Kane at the centre of everything, finishing as the Bundesliga’s top scorer for the third consecutive season with 36 goals. It’s hard to see past Bayern here, but the 1.36 doesn’t exactly jump off the page as good value. Stuttgart should be respected, even if they come up against a giant here. Bayern have beaten Stuttgart three times this season, each time covering the 1.5 goal handicap. Bayern are trading 1.86 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap here, and that looks cracking value in what should be an entertaining Cup Final.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Bayern Munich -1.5 goals to beat Stuttgart at 1.86 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
