FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP: The Ultra previews PSG v BAYERN MUNICH and REAL MADRID v DORTMUND with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
PSG V BAYERN MUNICH
5pm The Quarter-Finals of the FIFA Club World Club continue on Saturday, and we have a blockbuster day on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have two fixtures right out of the top drawer as PSG meet Bayern Munich and Real Madrid take on Dortmund. This feels like easily the biggest day and the highlight of the tournament so far, and hopefully we get two entertaining games. We had some massive shocks at the Last 16 stage with Inter Milan and Manchester City crashing out – dare I say FIFA will be hoping PSG and Real Madrid end up getting to the Final because the top half of the draw looks weak. It was no surprise to see Manchester City go favourites for the tournament before the Last 16 stage looking at the draw, but they fluffed their lines! Obviously PSG are the big name at the moment after the Champions League win, but let’s not forget that Bayern Munich are a European powerhouse too. They have been superb in the Bundesliga this season, and they managed to beat PSG 1-0 when the sides met at the Group stage of the Champions League too – they had home advantage. We should have a cracker here!
We have an interesting betting heat, with PSG coming into the game as the favourites at 2.3 with Bayern Munich 3.25 and the draw is 3.8 at the time of writing. Both clubs have obviously been exceptional this season – Bayern put in a poor performance against Benfica in their final Group game, and that meant they finished second in their Group but they bounced back with four goals against Flamengo. PSG won their Last 16 tie easily, but they were red-hot favourites against weak opposition – no side was shorter than PSG to win at the Last 16 stage! As I said above, we should get a good game here and I wouldn’t be rushing to take the 2.3 on PSG. That feels a little short in what should be a very competitive game – I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here. This game screams goals in my opinion, and Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.62 with Both Teams To Score a couple of ticks shorter at 1.56. I have to say I was very surprised to see Overs trading so high when I clicked into the market. Both sides have been heavily in the goals at this tournament, and neither of them sit back either – we should have a very entertaining game here and I’m happy to have a confident bet on Overs to start the day!
The Ultra Says:

REAL MADRID V DORTMUND
8pm We finish the Quarter-Finals with Real Madrid taking on Dortmund! Real Madrid have already had a rollercoaster of a tournament, but in typical Real Madrid style they have come through. They dropped points in their opening game, but still managed to top their Group and then got past Juventus at the Last 16 stage. They’ll be fancied to get past Dortmund now too given they weren’t at their best in the Bundesliga this season – albeit that they finished the season strongly. Nevertheless, it’s no surprise to see Real Madrid come into the game as the odds on favourites. Los Blancos are trading 1.69 with Dortmund 5.2 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. It’s actually very difficult to rate Dortmund at this tournament, but I do feel it’s fair to say that they have been lacklustre against very limited opposition. They got an easy draw against Fluminense, Mamelodi Sundowns and Ulsan – then they got an easy Last 16 tie against Monterrey and to be honest, they were lucky to come through that looking at the xG figures. They conceded an xG of 1.92 and created 1.07 – OK they were defending their two goal lead inside the opening 25 minutes, but they should have created more.
It’s fair to say that Dortmund have yet to be tested at this tournament; now they face one of the biggest tests in world football though! Real have been quite loose at the back so far this tournament and that’s something Xabi Alonso will want to work on – when they faced quality opposition against Juventus though, they kept a clean sheet. You’d have to expected the Real performances to improve the more time Alonso gets, and to be honest when I look at everything here it’s hard to see past a Real win. Dortmund are there for the taking looking at their performances. I know they finished the Bundesliga strongly, but they were quite average for a large part of the season and at 1.69 I do feel Real are about ten ticks too big here. I feel we’re getting so much value at 1.69 that Real are worth a Five Star NAP to finish a cracking day of football!
The Ultra Says:
Five points win Real Madrid to beat Dortmund at 1.69 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
