FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP: The Ultra previews INTER MILAN v URAWA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
INTER MILAN V URAWA
8pm The FIFA Club World Cup continues on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE as Inter Milan take centre stage on Saturday as they take on Urawa. When the draw was made for this tournament, it felt like all roads would lead to Inter Milan topping Group E. However, Inter opened their tournament with a disappointing draw against Monterrey while River Plate comfortably beat Urawa, so maybe we might see some drama in this Group yet. You’d have to expect Inter to win here, so it’ll be interesting to see the result between River Plate and Monterrey later on. River Plate are the current favourites for that, but they aren’t odds on.
Inter will say that they were unlucky in their opening game, and the stats do back that up. They had 62% possession and finished the game with an xG of 1.76 while conceding just under 1.0. They should have won, but you have to take your chances. Inter probably took a while to get over that hammering in the Champions League Final by PSG – they probably came into this tournament hoping to grow into as it goes on. They do have a reasonably easy draw in the next round, but after that it gets very difficult as they are on the same side of the draw as Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Obviously the gulf in class between the sides is massive here, and I feel this one will be about how many goals can Inter score rather than will they actually win. It’s no surprise to see Inter come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Inter Milan are trading 1.24 with Urawa 16.0 and the draw is 7.6 at the time of writing. With Inter trading so short in the match odds market and expected to win, we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value here.
As I said above, Inter created a decent amount in their first game but failed to take their chances. At least they are managing to create chances – if they had a low xG in the draw I’d be concerned but that wasn’t the case. Urawa shipped three goals against River Plate, but they were a little unlucky there looking at the under-lining numbers. That being said, the Urawa performance levels are quite average, and you can’t compared Serie A to the level in Japan either. Inter were exceptionally strong at the back in Serie A this season, and I can see them keeping a clean sheet on the way to winning here. Both Teams Not To Score is worth backing at 1.76.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.76 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
