SERIE A FINAL DAY

7.45pm The focus on Sunday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE is on Serie A, where we have some massive games in the race for the European spots. We had the title decided on Friday night, but this time it’s the race for the final Champions League spot along with the relegation battle. As things stand, Juventus are in the box seat sitting in fourth, just one point behind is Roma and then one point behind Roma sit Lazio. We’re going to have a fascinating evening! Remarkably all three sides are trading at exceptionally similar prices – they are all odds on.

At the time of writing, Lazio are 1.57 to beat Lecce with home advantage, Roma are 1.59 away to Torino and Juventus are 1.59 away to Venezia. While on paper, Roma have the tougher fixture in terms of where Torino sit in the league, Lecce and Venezia are both fighting to stay up so obviously they are fighting for their lives. From a Lazio and Juventus point of view, that’s not ideal – Torino might have the better quality but at the same time you never know the focus and motivation levels when sides have nothing to play for all the final day.

As things stand in the relegation battle – Monza are nailed to the bottom, then Venezia have 29 points – Empoli and Lecce both have 31 points and Parma have 33 points. Empoli are probably in the best position despite sitting in the relegation zone coming into the final day. They are at home to Verona while Parma are away to Atalanta, then obviously you have Lecce and Venezia up against the top sides going to that final Champions League spot. Empoli are 2.12 to win with home advantage at the time of writing, but they have the second worst attacking figure in Serie A this season, and they’ve actually been struggling to convert those limited chances.

Claudio Ranieri got an immense send off from the Roma fans in his final home game – after a slow start with Roma in crisis he really got them cooking, and it’s remarkable that they even have a chance at Champions League football heading into the final day. Torino have been over-performing this season to sit in mid-table – they have the joint-fourth worst attacking figure. And they are in the bottom five defensive figures too; they have been massively getting away with things at the back. Roma at 1.59 looks the best bet of the day in my opinion to beat a very average Torino side with nothing to play for.

Another appealing bet is Lazio at home against Lecce at 1.57. I know Lecce are in the relegation battle and they are fighting to stay up, but the 1.57 on Lazio looks ten ticks too big for me. Lazio have improved massively in front of goal this season, and Lecce have conceded a lot of chances – they have the fourth worst defensive figure in Serie A this season. It’s tempting to lay Empoli given how poor they have been, but I’m happy to stay with a Five Star NAP on Roma, and a confident bet on Lazio.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Roma to beat Torino at 1.59 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
Three points win Lazio to beat Lecce at 1.57 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
