TUESDAY’S BUNDESLIGA: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Tuesday’s games between STUTTGART v BAYERN MUNICH and ARMINIA BIELEFELD v BOCHUM both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

STUTTGART V BAYERN MUNICH

5.30pm We have another busy week in Europe with a full Bundesliga fixture list to enjoy on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We kick the week off with Stuttgart hosting the Champions Bayern Munich, fresh off a very interesting Champions League draw! Bayern were given one of the more difficult ties as they have to face Atletico Madrid in the Last 16, however Atletico haven’t been at their best this season and the Germans will fancy their chances of getting through to the Quarter Finals. It was a good weekend again for Bayern domestically as Dortmund dropped more points – Bayern now have a six point advantage at the top of the Bundesliga, and just when things were getting close, they quickly aren’t. Obviously the game with Dortmund was always going to be huge, and the win there has given them a big cushion heading into Christmas and the New Year – in between building the lead in the Bundesliga they also knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League!

The market is very confident on Bayern winning here with the away side trading as short as 1.28 at the time of writing. It’s very difficult to see anything bar a Bayern win here to be honest as Stuttgart are having a poor season. They have put three good results together coming into this game to manage two wins and a draw – which was huge looking at the relegation fight. They are now just out of the bottom three, but there isn’t much in it between themselves and Augbsurg. Although Stuttgart did get those three good results, they actually weren’t three good performances. They were lucky three times, and conceded a bigger xG in each game. Their performance level hasn’t changed, it’s just have had a good run of results going in their favour. Bayern will run riot here in my view given all the chances Stuttgart are conceding this season, and Any Other Away Win is worth backing at 3.0.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Any Other Away Win at 3.0 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ARMINIA BIELEFELD V BOCHUM

7.30pm Although we have three Bundesliga games kicking off at this time, I felt the most interesting one from a betting point of view was Arminia Bielefeld v Bochum. It’s also the most open market of the three, with Mainz and Wolfsburg decent favourites in the other games. This is a massive game for Arminia Bielefeld when you look at the bottom of the table. With Stuttgart and Augbsurg winning at the weekend, that leaves Arminia six points behind the relegation playoff spot and a loss here would really leave them in trouble. Obviously I’m expecting Stuttgart to lose against Bayern earlier in the evening, however its home games like this that Arminia must get something from if they want to stay up – or even get into a battle to stay up – at the moment it looks like the bottom two are certain to go down given the gap is getting bigger. They are the only sides to have only won once all season, with the smallest amount of wins being four from the rest of the league.

Bochum have really adjusted to life in the Bundesliga well. I felt that they would be in the relegation mix this season, but they are happily sitting in mid-table. I feel their performances haven’t been great however, and the xG table actually puts them into the bottom three. That has to be a major worry looking towards next season, and it will put pressure on management to improve the squad during the summer. They won’t go down this season, and they are use the extra money to invest in talent. If they don’t, I feel they will be definitely in the relegation battle next season. Although that might give Arminia fans a little bit of hope, the xG table actually puts them below Greuther Furth which is quite the achievement considering how bad Greuther are! Bochum didn’t deserve their draw with Dortmund at the weekend based on chances conceded, but that’s what confidence does – it brings results and helps sides grind out games. I can’t have Arminia as favourites here, and although the Bochum bet is tempting at 3.0, the Arminia lay makes the most appeal to have the draw on your side.

The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Arminia Bielefeld to beat Bochum at 2.54 with BETDAQ Exchange.
