AC MILAN V FEYENOORD

5.45pm It’s crunch time at the Knockout stage of the Champions League! We have some huge fixtures on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE this week, with some huge clubs in trouble heading into the second legs. No doubt all eyes will be on Real Madrid v Manchester City on Wednesday night, but AC Milan and Atalanta are both in action on Tuesday night and they are both one goal behind too! We kick off the evening with AC Milan hosting Feyenoord, and as I said AC Milan have work to do here after losing the first leg 1-0. They will feel very unlucky to be in this position – they finished the game with an xG of 1.70 for example – but you have to hand it to Feyenoord; they took the lead after three minutes and they grinded it out. It doesn’t take a genius to know what tactics Feyenoord will come to Milan with and the big question is will the home side be able to break them down and find a way through this time? AC Milan come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.47 with Feyenoord 7.6 and the draw is 5.1 at the time of writing.

AC Milan are under immense pressure here, but they only have themselves to blame for losing to Dinamo Zagreb on the final matchday – a game they should have won and finished in the top eight. AC Milan have been on a decent run in Serie A recently; finally getting results considering they have the third best attacking figure in the league this season. They’ve only lost once in their last ten Serie A games; they’ve definitely been playing better football compared to Feyenoord this season who are actually in danger of missing out on European football next season given they sit in fourth in the Eredivisie. They’ve only managed one win from their last six domestic games. Every single one of their Champions League Group games had Over 2.5 goals land; who could forget their comeback when 3-0 down against Manchester City too. I can see them coming here to defend though, and AC Milan have struggled to get over the line in Serie A games this season. Under 2.5 goals is trading 2.42 and I’m happy to have a small position on that given how this one sets up.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 2.42 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATALANTA V CLUB BRUGGE

8pm We have three games kicking off at 8pm, but Atalanta hosting Club Brugge. We have another Serie A club under pressure here after they lost the first leg 2-1! Atalanta will be very happy to have home advantage now heading into the second leg, and as I highlighted heading into the first leg – Brugge definitely needed to bring something here to have any chance of getting through. Away home had been a major issue for them; very similar to the above game however you know they are going to come here to defend, and it’ll be up to Atalanta to break them down. Atalanta come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.58 with Club Brugge 6.2 and the draw is 4.7 at the time of writing. While there is a big gulf in class between the sides, this fixture does fall at a tricky time for Atalanta – they were involved in the Serie A title race but with just two wins from their last eight games they’ve fallen off the pace there. They still have the best attacking figure in Serie A this season, but they’ve really struggled to get over the line in games recently.

If Club Brugge can hold out until the 60th minute mark for example, will the Atalanta heads start to go down as they lose belief? The big question here though is can Brugge actually hold on that long? Away from home in the Group stage they only managed one win and that came against Sturm Graz, and they conceded a lot more chances compared to their home form. Atalanta failed to score at the weekend here against Cagliari which has to be a worry; along with the fact their recent poor record in Serie A. However, when you look at the under-lining numbers and how Brugge have performed away from home in the Champions League, it’s hard to get away from the 1.58. I’m going to keep stakes reasonably limited here because there are definitely doubts with Atalanta at the moment; however I do feel that this market should be a little closer to the AC Milan market in the earlier kick off. The 1.58 is too big to ignore on Atalanta here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Atalanta to beat Club Brugge at 1.58 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
