GOLDEN NAP: SHAMROCK made it three winning naps from the last four with WICKLOW GOLD WON 5/4 at Tramore yesterday who stormed home by 27 lengths.
Nice and easy for WICKLOW GOLD at Tramore on Thursday who landed the nap at 5/4.
It’s a very early nap on Friday so I’ll get straight to the point.
I thought Rasco looks a decent bet against the odds-on favourite in the opener at Downpatrick.
At the respective BETDAQ prices (2.84 v 1.87) there’s only one way I can play this and that’s a bet on Rasco who was a 33/1 third to the long (understatement at 1/9) odds-on favourite Briar Hill at Wexford.
With the exclusion of the favourite it was a very modest race but I still feel he has achieved more than today’s favourite Royal Captain who was 6th of 11 finishers at Punchestown on debut.
