Just like the weather it was a horrid start to June.
I thought I had done the hard work when the first leg of yesterday’s double PAINT THE STAR finally consented to go into the stalls and won well but then was let down by Thomas Hobson who fell at the last when (probably) beaten.

Haggas stable are in good form and Auxiliary should improve on a promising debut fourth at Leicester. Looked to be crying out for the extra trip that day and gets it today.
6.35 Southwell
BANTAM
Looks more than capable of defying a penalty for her easy Wincanton win. Has a touch of class (second in a Listed hurdle at Cheltenham) and this looks very straightforward.
The double is paying around 3.95 on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.
