11-4 NAP AS DAQMAN HITS 260 POINTS PROFIT: Daqman’s profits soared to 260 points with his fourth winning day from five yesterday, thanks to another Daq Multiples double, which included his nap, Markab (WON 11-4).
FOUR WINNING DAYS OUT OF FIVE: Saturday was his only misfire (loss of 30 points). The four other days were supercharged: they brought him winners at 15-2, 13-2 and 6-1 SP, plus a double-your-money 9.2 BETDAQ coup about a 43-10 winner. Here are the winning days:
15-2 winner: PROFIT 25 points (Thursday): Beaufort Twelve (WON 15-2), Primaeval (WON 5-2), Golan Way (lay, unplaced 11-4 favourite)
13-2 and 6-1 winners: PROFIT 155 points (Friday): Amber Silk (WON 13-2), Watheeq (WON 6-1), Figaro (WON 2-1), Michelangelo (nap, WON 4-6).
9.2 Betdaq-value winner: PROFIT 19 points (Sunday): Golden Shot (WON 43-10 from 9.2), Leitor Mor (lay, 2nd 9-4 favourite) and Crius (lay, unplaced 13-8 favourite)

Double your money with Betdaq on the Oaks. Kailani, at 7-1 with several big bookmakers, has been trading double that at 15.0 on BETDAQ, though she comes out joint top of my stats assessment of Friday’s Epsom Classic.
Here’s how my Oaks ABC (and D and E, with F an added going factor) is worked out for each acceptor from a survey of the last decade’s results:
A = Finished in first two in an Oaks trial (8 out of 10)
B = Placed in 2yo Pattern race or unbeaten as juvenile (8 out of 10)
C = Rated 105 to 115 (8 out of 10)
D = Won over a mile or more (10 out of 10)
E = Ran already in their season and had no more than seven career starts (10 out of 10)
F = Has won on a sound turf surface (good, good to firm)
ABCDEF Kailani Out of an Oaks-winning mare, she crushed the opposition in the Pretty Polly at Newmarket, the seven-lengths runner-up having been second to Samitar, the Irish 1,000 Guineas winner, in a big-money 2yo race.
But the third filly home at Newmarket was only fifth of eight to Momentary and Shirocco Star (see below) in the Swettenham Stud trial at Newbury. Kailani won on good ground as a juvenile.
ABCDEF The Fugue Good-ground two-year-old winner who was struck into in the 1,000 Guineas, finishing fourth, just behind Maybe (see below).
Fully recovered, she slammed the Musidora field at York (good) by more than four lengths from Twirl (see below) and the Nell Gwyn winner, Esentepe.
The fourth home, Salford Art, beaten eight-and-a-half lengths, had finished more than 11 lengths behind Kailani (see above) in the Pretty Polly on the soft.
ABDEF Coquet This is her form jigsaw. Listed two-year-old winner over a mile, when the third home was Esentepe, the Nell Gwyn winner, who was subsequently third to The Fugue in the Musidora.
Coquet won the Height Of Fashion trial at Goodwood but only by a neck from Minidress, who had been well behind Esentepe in the Nell Gwyn. Nayarra (see below) stayed on to be fourth.
ABDE Colima Bred with a range of possibilities (half-sister to Group 3 winner Oh Goodness Me and to smart hurdler), she won over a mile on the soft as a juvenile from 16 others.
Colima’s jockey was standing in the stirrups, his hands motionless on her withers for most of the Lingfield Oaks Trial, until pressing the button: she came from behind under pressure to finish runner-up to Vow (see below).
ACDE Vow Broke her maiden on the soft in April, and still looked green in the Lingfield Oaks Trial, coming off a true line and ‘running about’ when leading in the straight. She still won well.
ACE Twirl Full sister to Oaks fifth Misty For Me, took on her elders in the Express Stakes at The Curragh (yielding) in March and ran a fine second with Sunday’s Irish 1,000 Guineas third just over a length behind her.
ADEF Shirocco Star One-mile winner on firm ground from a big field as a juvenile, and bred for at least 1m 2f, she looked likely to win the Swettenham Stud trial at Newbury recently but was run out of it by a maiden, Momentary.
The third filly home, Starscope, had run fourth in the Nell Gwyn and second in the Newmarket 1,000 Guineas.
ADE Betterbetterbetter Not raced until this year, broke her maiden on the Polytrack at Dundalk, and pipped only a short-head in the Cheshire Oaks. Related to Oaks-placed fillies.
However, the Cheshire Oaks winner, Good Morning Star, then finished last of six to The Fugue in the Musidora. See also Was (below).
BCDE Kissed Half-sister to Derby winner Pour Moi, she drew right away in a Listed race (10f) at Navan in April on soft ground. The eight-lengths-plus runner-up has since run second in a Group 3 (with Was third; see below)
BCDF Nayarra From the same stable as Sunday’s shock Irish 1,000 Guineas winner, and rated 3lb behind her.
But looks fully exposed after 12 races, second to Esentepe in the Nell Gwyn but down the field in both 1,000 Guineas and Height Of Fashion Stakes (nearly eight lengths behind Coquet)
BCEF Maybe Unbeaten last season in five races, including the Chesham and the Moyglare, on good ground and on soft. Visually impressive.
So it was a surprise to see her outrun by her stable-companion Homecoming Queen in the Newmarket 1,000 Guineas on officially good-to-soft ground.
The dam is closely related to the Oaks winner Dancing Rain but was herself a sprinter, and Maybe may be more of a 1m 2f filly this year.
CEF Devotion Fillies’ Mile sixth in September, but possibly did not improve on that when second in the Leopardstown 1,000 Guineas Trial, since the winner, Yellow Rosebud, was seventh of eight in the Irish 1,000 on Sunday.
DEF Was Cost a massive 1,200,000 guineas and an easy maiden win on good ground last August had many an observer pencil her in for the Moyglare.
But only the fourth horse, Coral Wave, would come out of the race with any distinction and Was, herself, would miss her engagements until a fortnight ago after a setback in training.
She returned full of promise again, third to Princess Highway in a Group-3 at Naas (albeit a slow time on the good ground) after that one beat Betterbetterbetter at Leopardstown.
E Toptempo Very green as a juvenile, she looked to have trained on well, staying on strongly over 1m 4f (good to firm) in a Newmarket maiden earlier in the month. The last maiden to win the Oaks was Sun Princess (by 12 lengths in 1983).
