DAQMAN BEATS THE MARKET: Daqman notched up a profit of 4 points from just two selections on Sunday when Market House WON 15-8 at Plumpton. His planned third selection of the day was a non runner.
COUNTDOWN TO SANDOWN: This week Daqman counts down to Sandown on Saturday and the jumps season finale. The course also host a valuable flat card on Friday featuring three Group races. Stay tuned this week for all the news and selections.
REDCAR NAP: Our man starts the week with a NAP at Redcar on their first meeting of the new season.
SALUTE THE COLONEL
⭕ 4.20 Redcar Just four runners for this novice event but it’s full of interest although Heathers Feather does look outclassed.
It’s hard to get away from the form of Mr Colonel who ran a cracker in a Group 3 on his final start of last season at Newmarket when fourth to Pierre Bonnard who is around 9-1 for the Derby !!
He was beaten less than five lengths and definitely ran better than his 50-1 price would have suggested and might indeed have been closer but for being short of room.
According To Mark ran well on debut when fourth at Newcastle and represents the in form stable of Edward Bethell. He should appreciate the extra two furlongs and is the main danger – as the Betdaq Betting Exchange market indicates.
Bay Of Myths justified favouritism to make a winning debut at Chelmsford although the Godolphin runner-up Montevetro did little to advertise the form at Wolverhampton on his subsequent start.
TOP CAT BY A WHISKER
⭕ 5.20 Redcar A competitive six furlong handicap concludes the card and Belling The Cat could be well handicapped.
The filly showed next to nothing in her first three starts but improved significantly on her handicap debut at Newcastle when finishing a 14-1 runner-up to Liquid Cooled over this same trip.
If she can build on that effort, she’s definitely on a winning mark at the moment and she looks less exposed than the majority of her rivals here.
Market leader Watchdog shot up 9lb after his Newcastle win in December and that seems to have halted his progress judged by his latest two efforts. He only beat one home last time out and races off the same mark here.
ANALYSE ANALOGICAL
⭕ 6.00 Newcastle Analogical has an obvious chance here after a consistent spell of handicapping and still looks capable despite his career high mark of 75.
He was only pipped a nose at Southwell last time out over 1m 6f – interestingly he also holds an entry for a similar race there on Thursday this week so trainer Sir Mark Prescott might be looking to strike twice this week?

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
