FOUR FOR TUESDAY: Daqman goes on a whistle stop tour of Ayr, Ffos Las, Hereford and Wolverhampton on Tuesday with his recommended bet running at Dunstall Park.
QUEEN AND MARY THE ANSWER
⭕ 2.30 Ayr The card starts with a long odds-on shot as Railwayman bids to continue the good form of Karl Burke. He showed plenty of promise when third on debut at Leicester and should land this – although is one for the money buyers given his skinny price tag.
The next race looks competitive, at a low grade, despite the two morning non runners. Jim Goldie has taken out Bonito Cavalo but still has Fear And Fast and Wee Mary running for him. Fear And Fast is on a career low handicap mark but makes limited appeal after a 181 day break and is 0-16 in his career so far.
Wee Mary ran better when third at Thirsk last month and makes plenty of appeal at double figure odds on the Betdaq Betting Exchange. I’ll stake for a WIN 20 return.
I’ll also include Canaria Queen who is up only 2lb for her Doncaster win last month where she beat Beerwah who came out to win at Redcar net time out.
GO FORTH AND MULTIPLY
⭕ 3.18 Ffos Las Fairye Forth should enjoy a fitness edge here over market rivals Getaway Vic (off for 390 days) and Kind Intention (383 days).
Fairye Forth was a point winner in Ireland and has shown distinct promise in two starts over hurdles including when runner-up in a similar course and distance event last month.
Getaway Vic won two of his three bumpers but it’s hard to know what to expect after such a long break, a debut over hurdles and on his first start for trainer Mickey Brown. The market might prove the best clue but was neutral in early morning trading.
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
⭕ 7.47 Hereford Tao Enki and the Nicky Henderson trained Ettore make the market here but neither have set the world alight so far.
A better value option might be the more experienced American Empire who ran a solid course and distance third last time out on his first start since wind surgery. The handicapper has dropped him a pound and the form might well be strong enough.
The consistent Southey again has place chances on his return after a break and from a spell chasing.
MAGNA-IFICENT
⭕ 9.00 Wolverhampton Moostar let me down when only third last time out and is now tried in a visor but might come up short again against the hat-trick seeking Magna who has been winning with enough in hand to suggest she can cope with her new handicap mark.
