WORLD CUP GROUP C: The Ultra previews BRAZIL v HAITI with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
🏆 World Cup 2026 🏆
🇧🇷 Brazil v Haiti 🇭🇹
1.30am (Saturday) The Samba Boys are back in action in the early hours of Saturday UK time on WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange! . Brazil need a response after their start to the World Cup – and fast. The five-time world champions arrive in Philadelphia under mounting pressure after dropping points against Morocco in their opener, with a restless dressing room, a restless nation and a restless media pack all waiting to see how Carlo Ancelotti’s side react. Obviously Morocco were always going to be a tough nut to crack, but the Brazil performance was lacklustre. Morocco finished the game with a higher xG figure. On paper, this looks straightforward for Brazil but as we saw with Spain v Cape Verde; a massive shock if never far away!
Spain were 1.11 to beat Cape Verde and money buyers got their fingers burnt there. Brazil are a similar price here – they are trading as short as 1.12 with Haiti 25.0 and the draw is 13.0 at the time of writing. With the dynamics inside the Brazil camp, nothing about this World Cup campaign has looked straightforward so far, and surely the shrewd play here is to stay away from the short odds. Obviously it’s very difficult to see past a Brazil win given the level of Haiti, and we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value. It feels like the Brazil camp is not a happy one right now. Ancelotti admitted post-match that his side were “anxious” and “lacked balance.” The balance comment was probably a big one; so many big names, but do they all fit into the system.
And then there is the Neymar situation. Brazil’s leading scorer, 34 years old and nursing a calf injury that kept him out of the Morocco game, remains a divisive presence in the squad. Can he accept being a supporting cast member if Vini Jr is the undisputed main man? History suggests that has never been Neymar’s style. It felt like they were giving him the cold shoulder when he was trying to speak to them during the water break in the Morocco game too. It’s a delicate ecosystem for any manager to navigate! Haiti deserve enormous respect for simply being here; but let’s be honest – the gulf in class between the sides is absolutely massive. They “only” conceded once against Scotland, and in fairness to them they actually finished the game with a higher xG figure too.

They showed against Scotland that they are decent enough – they pushed the Scots back for long spells in the second half. Obviously Brazil is another level though; I would expect similar tactics that we saw Cape Verde employ against Spain. Haiti will be here for a draw, and it’s up to Brazil to make all the running. The worry for Brazil is not whether they win this game – they almost certainly will – but how. A nervy, unconvincing win will do nothing to ease the internal tensions. The longer Haiti can hang on, the cracks might start to show too. The dynamics off the pitch make this more interesting than the odds suggest from a spectacle point of view! The handicap is 2.5, and I actually feel Haiti are worth a small bet at 1.94 with the 2.5 goal head start. Brazil will have to grind out a win here in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Haiti +2.5 goals to beat Brazil at 1.94 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
