40.0 SECOND IN DAQMAN PLACE SPREE: While Amiloc (WON 11-8) yesterday continued Daqman’s winning ways (11 bets up in Royal Ascot week), outsiders at huge value offers on BETDAQ have been place hits on a daily basis, including 40.0 Cajole, second yesterday. He finds one in the Wokingham this afternoon to follow these.. But hopefully break their duck!
49.0 PANTILE WARRIOR (3rd 40-1, 1l, nk) King George V cap
40.0 CAJOLE (2nd 25-1, beaten a length) Sandringham Stakes
20.0 FURTHER (2nd 20-1, threeparts of a length) Queen’s Vase
15.0 LENNILU (3rd 11-2, btn 1.25l, 0.5l) Queen Mary Stakes
10.0 LA BOTTE (2nd 7-1, beaten a neck) Britannia Stakes
TODAY’S OUTSIDERS: bull’s-eye bets at 17.0, 18.0, 22.0, 28.0, 40.0 and 44.0, with BETDAQ place odds.
MAGIC CHESHAM MOMENTS
🎩 2.30 Royal Ascot (Chesham Stakes) LAYS LOGIC: Nothing much has happened for Charlie Appleby since his Guineas double with Ruling Court and Desert Flower, both well beaten since.
Two Group 1 (Team Gosden) and a handicap at Royal Ascot (Saeed bin Suroor) have seen the Godolphin blue flown high but by other trainers.
In this Chesham, his Treanmor, a Frankel colt (2.4 on BETDAQ) was impressive at Newmarket but those behind him have since finished second twice, fifth and last of 10.
Fillies are on a hat-trick in the Chesham and their winners in 2017 and 2014 both came from a Leopardstown maiden won this year by Moments Of Joy from the O’Brien stable of True Love and Gstaad.
28.0 JUSTUM CAN BUST’EM
🎩 3.05 Royal Ascot (Hardwicke Stakes) LAYS LOGIC: Rebel’s Romance is another morning favourite for Charlie Appleby, 5lb better with Epic Poet after their head to head in the Yorkshire Cup.
But Epic Poet would have prevailed in another couple of yards and no seven-year-old has won the Hardwicke in more than 100 years!
The 28.0 BETDAQ offer Bellum Justum can beat off both: 112-rated yet only a neck behind St Leger and Coronation Cup winner Jan Brueghel (123) at Goodwood and he won the Nashville Derby at Kentucky on firm ground.
Blinkers and Oisin Murphy may boost St Leger third, Sunway, but David Menuisier’s stable is not firing (0-18), and his runners are starting any price you like.
HOWZAT! SAJIR PIPS LAZZAT
🎩 3.40 Royal Ascot (Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes) Back-to-form Commonwealth Cup winner Inisherin is a stand-out off 116 on British form.
But France has the equal in Topgear (Christopher Head), IF he can drop back a furlong and IF he can cope with the ground. Usually fast out of the traps!
The distance suits Sajir, sent over by Andre Fabre to win the Abernant in April, and second to Topgear over 7f soft.
Sajir is too big at 44.0 but top-rated of the French trio is Jerome Reynier’s Lazzat, though his narrow defeat by Lake Forest at Rosehill puts him behind Inisherin on the Ascot form. But, again, we’re talking about almost a mile for the Aussie race (7.5f).
It all has the makings of a 6f championship of Europe, tested by Satono Reve, a couple of lengths behind world-top-rated Ka Ying Rising at Sha Tin.
KEANE ON THE 40.0 SAINT
🎩 5.00 Royal Ascot (Wokingham Stakes) The one stall landed a 6f double yesterday with winners in the Albany (7-1 beat 15-8 favourite) and the Commonwealth Cup (25-1 beat 6-4 favourite with stall 20 second).
Unequal Love won the Wokingham last year, also from stall 1, also with a high number (24) in second, and the third (Orazio, 22) had to be switched a furlong out.
Kept fresh for this repeat bid, the grey Orazio (now in 25) can make up for Saffie Osborne’s narrow defeat on 40.0 DAQMAN tip Cajole, second yesterday.
In the one stall this time is the 2023 Wokingham winner, Saint Lawrence, who has run in seven Group races. Didn’t get a run from stall 8 last year but has gate 30 today, with Colin Keane booked.
Second that year was Apollo One (led two out), high in the handicap now, giving 11lb to Ryan Moore on Aramram (19) whose last 10 runs, excluding heavy ground, have returned 312122221.
At the weights, Aramram should turn the tables on More Thunder, after their one-two at Newmarket in early May. Purosangue, two lengths behind, is better off with both at the weights today. Stall 22 with Oisin Murphy up.
Holkham Bay has returns at Ascot of 211. The ground is a worry on form but his sire’s progeny have been best on firm and good to firm.
BETDAQ value outsiders: 17 Orazio, 18 Purosangue, 22 Holkham Bay, 40 Saint Lawrence (4 places 7.6). Saver: Aramram

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
