PREVIEW
Seville’s good start to the season has been slightly derailed by two defeats on the bounce but they have a good opportunity to get back to winning ways tonight when they host Mallorca in the Spanish top-flight at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
Míchel González’s men were unlucky not to inflict a first league defeat on leaders Barcelona in their penultimate game at home, when they somehow managed to throw away a 2-0 lead and then saw David Villa snatch a 93rd minute winner for Barca.
They were then a bit disappointing versus Celta Vigo, going down 1-0 but have only lost twice in the last ten games to Mallorca, although both defeats came at home.
Mallorca arrive on the mainland also having lost their last two games, against Granada and Getafe, and sit just above Seville in seventh-place on goal difference. A win for either team will them shoot up the table level on points with Real Madrid.
A repeat of Seville’s effort against Barcelona would surely be enough to take all three points tonight and at 1.61 they look worth backing.
