MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column is 68 points up since it started. The next BETDAQ tennis bet comes early on Friday morning in the Rakuten Japan Open.

Alexander Bublik win over Lloyd Harris gave the P&L on the column a further boost to 68 points since we began – hope you were on !!

Plenty of BETDAQ tennis markets to be checked out daily and it terms of my next bet the match I’m most interested in is the Reilly Opelka v Yasutaka Uchiyama clash in the Rakuten Japan Open. The match is scheduled to begin at 2am on Friday morning. Another alarm clock set !

Opelka won’t be popular if he halts the progress of surprise package Yasutaka Uchiyama who has progressed to this quarter final as a qualifier and has relished the home support so far in Japan.

This is his first quarter final of an ATP 500 event and he advanced thanks to a 2 hour 25 minute battle against world number 45 Radu Albot in the last round.

Uchiyama faced a break point to go down two breaks in the opening set and it looked as though it could have all been over very quickly but he rallied well, despite losing the first set, and won the next two for a 6-7(2), 6-3, 6-4 victory.

The American Reilly Opelka may cause him more of a headache though. Opelka impressed in the serving department with 19 aces in a 7-6(4), 7-6(2) victory against the experienced Frenchman Gilles Simon to reach this stage.

There is a big gulf of 83 ranking points between the pair in favour of the American and the two meet for the first time. At 6’11” Opelka towers above most rivals – including Uchiyama who is ‘just’ 6′ tall.

Opelka, five-years younger than Uchiyama, should dominate and I’m backing him to win in the BETDAQ match market.
