PREVIEW
Everton have suffered just one defeat in their last 14 league games and have the pontential to give new Baggies boss Pepe Mel a torrid debut.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last six on the road including a win at Old Trafford and gaining a point at Arsenal.

Their tally of 41 points is their highest after 21 games of a season since 1978-79 and a win tonight would lift them into fourth (and, more importantly for their fans) above Liverpool. West Brom are in 14th but only three points away from the bottom three in a congested lower half of the table.

The reverse fixture in August ended goalless, with Everton twice hitting the woodwork and West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster producing an inspired performance to deny Roberto Martinez a first victory as Everton manager.

We’re thinking West Brom may also gain a point tonight as the new Mel-era gets underway.
