MOZETTA THE DUNDALK BANKER: On the weekend that the Irish flat racing season gets underway at the Curragh on Sunday – Mozetta can get the weekend off to the best possible start by winning the 8.35 at Dundalk.
Mozetta has had plenty of chances but that shouldn’t put you off backing her to lose her maiden tag in the Visit attheraces.com/topoffers Maiden at Dundalk tonight.
The filly has by far and away the most experience in this line up and it’s fair to say it’s a very modest contest which boosts her appeal considerably.
She has experience of the Dundalk surface too. Finishing second on debut last May beaten just three quarters of a length.
She went on to have quite a busy turf campaign, running six times and finishing in third place in four of those races.
The switch back to Polytrack and the break should hopefully prove a potent combination tonight.
Mountain Kingdom looks the danger. The son of Montjeu has shown sporadic form including here at Dundalk when third to Sar Oiche but that run came over two miles.
