5/1 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK saved the best until last at Galway with a 5/1 WINNING NAP on the final day of the meeting. It was his third winning nap of the meeting which included a 16/1 WINNING NEXT BEST as well !!!

Camlann landed my NAP at 5/1 (8.0 on BETDAQ when recommended) in the opener at Galway yesterday under a great ride from Rachael Blackmore.

The nap (recommended win and place) was having his third run at the meeting but battled on courageously in the closing stages.

SHAMROCK started Galway with a 16/1 WINNER – Monday’s next best selection SWAMP FOX WON 16/1 and also landed his NAP on Saturday with LOST IN SILENCE at 11/8.

So it was JUST TWO bets over the weekend:

Saturday: Lost In Silence (NAP) WON 11/8
Sunday: Camlann (NAP) WON 5/1

Top tipping and let’s hope the good form continues this week.

Two afternoon cards in Ireland on Monday. Flat action at Naas and jumping at Cork.

I much prefer the chances of the Dermot Weld trained Almanaara over chief market rival Flowerhill Nova in the six furlong maiden at Naas.

Almanaara is lightly raced and showed more than enough at the Curragh last time to suggest that he could win a race like this. The grey finished fourth to Reckless Gold who looks quite smart and is entered up in a Listed race tomorrow.

Flowerhill Nova is a model of consistency but keeps finding one or two too good and it could well be the case again today.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Almanaara (2.55 Naas)
