LISTED ACTION AT NAAS: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the featured Midsummer Sprint Stakes at Naas tonight over the minimum five furlongs.
The card at Naas tonight includes the Listed Midsummer Sprint Stakes at 6.40pm.
The race has quite an open look to it and looks a little below par for Listed status so might not take much winning.
Son Of Rest is the only triple figure rated runner in the field but his two career wins have both come with give in the ground and he could only beat one home in Listed company at Navan last time out.
Preference is for the Aidan O’Brien trained Dali whose only career win has come over course and distance and he went close in a Curragh handicap last time out when beaten just a head.
He probably needs to find improvement to win at Listed level but as stated it doesn’t look the best race with plenty of question marks around his rivals.
